Reviews
"The standard of dining at Chez Grand-mère is in a class by itself...This is food that woos the senses, so beautiful and aromatic that it is tasted with the eyes and nose long before the first forkful ever meets the mouth." - Karen Brucoli Anesi, food critic, Cross Currents

"The menu reflected a creative, imaginative chef...every course was delightful; every dish surprising...so beautifully drafted by a man who obviously loves good food." - Robin Mather, food critic, The Detroit News. Read more of this review.
"Particularly memorable the night we dined were the supreme of duck with a pear brandy sauce, fresh salmon with an exquisite dill and dry vermouth sauce, and the braised rabbit, which was served with an unusual white wine and sweet pimento sauce. All entrees were presented perfectly; small works of art that tasted as great as they looked." - Michael Carlton, restaurant critic, The Denver Post
